"Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building, and hired counsellors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia." Ezra 4:5

I sure could have put this Word into action on yesterday evening!

While on our way home yesterday, as we approached an accident, I stopped to ask an officer a question...why in the world did I do that....the officer's response was so offensive...y'all....at first I said I was going to let it go, but then our paths crossed again, so for me that was a sign, I had to let him know how I felt!

Now, I wasn't loud, rude or offensive back towards him, but I had to let him know I didn't appreciate his response and while his response was inappropriate, it was totally unprofessional! I think what messed me up the most is that I allowed this person to "take me there"! I was so frustrated...how dare he speak to me that way! The pen is mightier than the sword, so when I got home I wrote a letter to his commanding officers about the situation.

People of God....DON'T ALLOW FOLKS TO FRUSTRATE YOUR PURPOSE......YOU KNOW YOU NEED TO GET WHERE GOD WANTS YOU TO BE....YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A PURPOSE...PLAN...AND A VISION...SO STAY ON TRACK.....TRY NOT TO ALLOW FRUSTRATION...ANGER OR SOMEONE ELSE'S ACTIONS TO THROW YOU OFF TRACK....BE ANGRY BUT SIN NOT.....HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS AND STAY FOCUSED......AS YOU STRIVE TO MOVE AHEAD....REMEMBER THERE WILL ALWAYS BE FOLKS WHO WILL TRY TO BEAT YOU DOWN...TEAR YOU DOWN AND WEIGH YOU DOWN....YOU'RE STRONGER THAN THEY ARE...FOR GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU THAN HE THAT IS IN THIS WORLD...YOU HANG ON IN THERE....YOU HAVE A BLESSED ASSURANCE THAT NO WEAPON FORMED SHALL PROSPER...OH IT MAY FORM...BUT PRAISE GOD....IT WILL NOT PROSPER.....JUST DON'T GIVE IN TO IT.....YOU KEEP DOING THE RIGHT THINGS AND BY ALL MEANS.....AND YES IT IS HARD...BUT....AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE....TRY NOT TO LET FOLKS FRUSTRATE YOU!!!!!

My Momma, Sarah Ann, used to say...."I can show you better than I can tell you"...when she said that....I knew I was headed for trouble!There's a song by Rockwell and Michael Jackson "Somebody's Watching Me"! Well my Brother.....my Sister....THEY'RE WATCHING YOU!!!!! Rather it's big brother, big sister, little brother or little sister, someone is always watching the way we, as Christians, are handling ourselves and living our lives! That's why it's so important that we live a Righteous life!

Titus 2:12 says "......we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world." Paul said in Philippians 3:17 "Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample."

People of God.....YOUR ACTIONS SPEAKS LOUDER THAN YOUR WORDS....DON'T JUST TALK THE TALK....BUT WALK THE WALK....BE GOOD EXAMPLES BY ALLOWING OTHERS TO SEE CHRIST....THE HOPE OF GLORY......IN AND THROUGH YOU.....OF COURSE SOME PEOPLE MAY BE WATCHING JUST TO SEE YOU SLIP AND FALL....DON'T CONCENTRATE ON THE FALLS....THOUGH A RIGHTEOUS MAN FALLS SEVEN TIMES...HE GETS BACK UP...YOU KEEP GETTING UP....DUST YOURSELF OFF AND SHOW THE WORLD THAT YOU RISE ABOVE ANY OCCASSION......SHOW THEM BETTER THAN YOU CAN TELL THEM.....CONTINUE TO LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BECAUSE YOU CAN REST ASSURED....RATHER IT'S ON YOUR JOB....IN YOUR HOME.....AT THE GYM.....GROCERY STORE...TRAFFIC LIGHT AND EVEN IN YOUR CHURCH...SOMEWHERE OUT THERE....SOMEBODY'S WATCHING YOU!!!!!!

[Those who belong to God hear the words of God.] This is the reason that you do not listen [to those words, to Me]: because you do not belong to God and are not of God or in harmony with Him." John 8:44,47

I know...I know.....sometimes we give the devil far too much credit but it is, what it is...the devil is cunning, crafty, sly and deceitful! He knows if he can get plant a thought in our head, especially a lie, if he can just get that thought planted into us, and when we are not careful or fall ignorant to his devices (II Corinthians 2:11), he will have us believe a lie rather than the truth! It's so important for us, as Believers, to know what God's Word says we can have, to know what His Word says we can do, and to know what God's Word says about who and Who's we are!

People of God......THE ENEMY WANTS TO THROW YOU OFF TRACK....HE WANTS TO GET OUT OF CHARACTER....GET YOU OUT OF WHACK...SO MUCH SO UNTIL YOU START THINKING AND ACTING IN A WAY THAT'S SO CONTRARY TO GOD'S WORD.....DON'T GO FOR IT.....IF IN DOUBT....TRY THE SPIRIT BY THE SPIRIT....HOLY SPIRIT WILL LEAD...GUIDE AND DIRECT YOU INTO ALL TRUTHS....YOU HAVE THE WORD HIDDEN IN YOUR HEART....AND IT'S IN YOUR MOUTH...CONTINUE TO TRUST GOD AND STAND ON HIS WORD.....HIS WORD WILL NEVER RETURN TO HIM VOID....IT SHALL ACCOMPLISH ALL HE SAYS AND PROSPER WHEREVER HE SENDS IT.....SO STOP TRIPPIN'.....YOU'RE ALWAYS SAYING....THE DEVIL IS A LIAR....SO......STICK WITH WHAT YOU KNOW!!!!!!

"Jesus Is The Best Part of Waking Up"

As I was preparing for work this morning, I heard a commercial and I thought.....The best part of waking up is not with some coffee in my cup.....but it's with JESUS.....WHO FILLS MY CUP!!!!

People of God......I'M BOILING OVER IN THE INSIDE THIS MORNING.....MY CUP RUNNETH OVER WHEN I THINK OF HIS GOODNESS AND ALL HE'S DONE FOR ME....MY SOUL CRIES OUT HALLELUJAH...THANK YOU JESUS FOR SAVING ME.....MY CUP RUNNETH OVER BECAUSE HE'S IN MY HEART....MY CUP RUNNETH OVER BECAUSE HE IS LORD......MY CUP RUNNETH OVER BECAUSE I KNOW HE'S MORE POWERFUL THAN CAFFEINE....HE'S MORE THAN ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND IN MY LIFE.......HE DOESN'T NEED SUGAR OR ANY SWEETENERS....BECAUSE WHEN HE SPEAKS HIS WORDS ARE SWEETER THAN A HONEYCOMB....HE DOESN'T NEED HEAT FROM A STOVE....COFFEE POT OR A MICROWAVE TO GET ME GOING IN THE MORNINGS BECAUSE AS I MEDITATE ON HIS WORD....AS I SPEAK HIS WORD....BROTHER JEREMIAH PUT IT. THIS WAY....HIS WORD IN MY HEART IS AS FIRE SHUT UP IN MY BONES....OH I'M BOILING....I'M BOILING......I'M BUBBLING OVER WITH JOY......GLORRRRYYYYYYYY......HE'S JESUS...GOD'S SON...HE'S JESUS ALL BY HIMSELF...HE'S MY SAVIOR AND RULER OF MY WORLD.....JESUS IS THE BEST PART OF WAKING UP!!!!!!

CAN I GET A WITNESS??!!!!!

And as you have been a curse and a byword among the nations, O House of Judah and House of Israel, so will I save you, and you shall be a Blessing. Fear not, but let your hands be strong and hardened. "And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. " Luke 15:29 (KJV)

Now how does the Scriptures and title above tie into one another.....I don't know....I just know I attempted to write this Motivation at around 4:00am but just couldn't. Holy Spirit directed me to the Scriptures, gave me the title but that was all I had. I figured instead of trying to operate in the flesh and try to make something happened, I'd go back to bed and wait until Holy Spirit gave me what He wanted to say to the Church! Well after I laid down for about an hour.....I was awakened by this Word from The Lord"

GOD WILL MEET YOU AT YOUR POINT OF NEED!!!!

That's it People of God.........GOD WILL MEET YOU AT YOUR POINT OF NEED......not mine....not your spouse's....not your brother's.....sister's........but at YOUR point of need!!!!

"Encourage Yourself In The Lord"

I don't know what battles....what circumstances and what issues some are you are facing right now.....but know.....GOD KNOWS!!!! He knows every situation.....he knows every struggle....and every challenge!

While God has gifted me with the Gift of Exhortation to encourage and uplift His People......this day Holy Spirit wants you to.......ENCOURAGE YOURSELF IN THE LORD!!!

Judges 20:22: "And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day."

I Samuel 30:6: "And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God."

II Chronicles 32:5: "Also he (Hezekaiah) strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance."

Each of them.....The Men of Israel, David and Hezekiah....when faced with a battle after they sought God for direction......THEY ENCOURAGED THEMSELVES.....PURSUED AND WON!!!

People of God......YOU WILL WIN!!!! ENCOURAGE YOURSELF IN THE LORD......ASK HIM TO COVER YOU WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS AND FACE YOUR BATTLE HEAD ON......GOD IS WITH YOU....HE'S THERE....FIGHTING FOR YOU....WITH YOU........EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.....HE'S THERE.....ENCOURAGE YOURSELF IN THE LORD!!!!!

I'll end with a Prayer which includes excerpts from II Chronicles 32:7-8 & Ephesians 3:16:

"Be strong and courageous. Be not afraid or dismayed.....for there is Another with us greater than all those with him (the enemy).....with him (the enemy) is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles....May God grant you out of the rich treasury of His Glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty Power in the inner man by Holy Spirit Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality.......in Jesus' Name and by His shed Blood.....Amen!

This morning I was awaken after having a very disturbing dream. My youngest son, Jaquan, must have been about 5 or 6 in the dream....anyhow.......he and I were up 2 stories standing on a porch. As Quan was playing he grabbed a hold of me and kinda wrapped his little body around me.....obviously I didn't want to play because I kept trying to push him away telling him to move......and for some reason....telling him to wake up.....wake up.......well....I guess I pushed the little boy too hard because before I knew it....I pushed him off the porch.....y'all my heart was about to stop in the dream.....I was distraught....talk about scared.....and panicked...... well.... when I did come to myself (we all have to come to ourselves) and looked over the side of the porch....low and behold Quan had not fallen to the ground but actually.... somehow....NO....by The Grace of God.....he was hanging by the back of his shirt...on a fence....WHEW!!

After Quan was taken down (and I don't know how he got down)....but afterwards he came to me.....the little boy....with smiles all over his face....started telling me how good God was and how as he was falling......he remembered THE WORD that was spoken into his life! WOW!!!! I Love how The Lord orchestrates and confirms what has been placed on my heart because just as I checked my emails this morning Sis. Sharon's devotional gave confirmation!

People of God.......GOD'S EYES ARE ON THE SPARROW......HE'S WATCHING OVER US.... OVER OUR CHILDREN.... PROTECTING THEM FROM DANGERS SEEN AND UNSEEN..... HE'S WATCHING OVER THEM.....LEADING AND GUIDING THEIR FOOTSTEPS ALL THE WAY.....RATHER THEY REALIZE IT OR NOT......REMEMBER HOW YOU WERE WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD...... YOU CAME TO YOURSELF DIDN'T YOU.....JUST LET THEM GO IN JESUS' NAME....... ALLOW THE BLOOD OF JESUS TO COVER THEM...PROTECT THEM.....ALLOW THE WORD OF GOD THEY HAVE BEEN TAUGHT....SPOKEN INTO THEIR LIVES... ALLOW THE WORD TO BRING THEM BACK HOME......WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE..... JUST KEEP TRAINING THEM.......THEY MIGHT GO ASTRAY FOR A MINUTE.......BUT SOONER OR LATER....BY AND BY.......THEY WILL WAKE UP....AND LIKE THE PRODIGAL SON....... THEY WILL COME HOME.........AND YOU'LL SEE AND THEY'LL TELL YOU..... YOUR WORK WAS NOT IN VAIN......SO STOP WORRYING.....STOP FRETTING.....GIVE THAT CHILD OR THOSE CHILDREN TO GOD.......LET GOD HAVE HIS WAY IN THEIR LIFE..... YOU CAN'T PREVENT THE FALL......THE FALL IS INEVITABLE....YOU CAN HOWEVER BE THERE AFTER THE FALL WITH STRETCHED OUT ARMS.....JUST AS CHRIST RECEIVED YOU WHEN YOU WERE LOST.....RECEIVE YOUR CHILD WITH LOVE......JUST LET GO....AND LET GOD AND BELIEVE.......THEY ARE SAFE IN HIS ARMS!!!
